Has Your City Abused their Power as a Successor Agency?
Almost 200 Cities Have Improper RDA Budgets Rejected
After years of Cities misusing taxpayer dollars for corporate welfare and junkets to the tune of $5B a year, the State decided enough is enough and shut down the Redevelopment Agencies program that it has been subsidizing for over 50 years.
Now, City leaders throughout the State are attempting to take even more money from schools and public safety!
The Department of Finance, the Department in charge of winding down Redevelopment Agencies, has rejected almsot 200 requests for money from Redevelopment’s Successor Agencies. These Successor Agencies – usually ran by the same people who threatened property rights and wasted your taxpayer dollars are now claiming millions of dollars for loans, private development and staff salaries!
